Elizabeth hadn't thought that he'd actually try to hurt her, but he did. She's not sure how badly he intended to hurt her, but she wasn't willing to find out. So she runs, and she's not really paying attention to where she's going. She's too busy thinking about what he said - what he called her and how maybe he was right, that sometimes people have to put themselves in danger to get out of it.
She's not expecting to run into anybody until she reaches the house she and Booker are staying in - but she does.
She'll be home after, she'll close the door behind her and pace around the kitchen in frustration, but first, she's about to slam right into someone not even involved.

She doesn't drop her hands, but she does look a little frightened. "I - I was looking for Booker, and so I went to the bar, but Mr. Albatou was there and - and --" Just let her get her breath a little, she's been running hard for a few minutes.

He turns his attention back on Elizabeth, expression softening a little, "Breathe, princess. Deep breaths. Go slow and tell me."

"When I offered to open tears for everybody the other day, Mr. Albatou approached me to ask if I would bring through explosives." She fidgets uncomfortably at this. "He demanded, rather. And I only agreed to do so because I believed he would stay true to his word, that he did not intend for anybody to get hurt."
Her voice shakes, and then steadies again as she looks up at Ghoul. "He did not stay true, and when I found him in the bar, I chastised him. He responded with crude name-calling and taking hold of my shirt." She is very, very uncomfortable with anybody touching her, really - especially men.

Ghoul sighs, hands clenching into fists at his sides. This Albatou guy is a dead man. But later. Something tells him she's not going to approve of the swift-ass justice he has planned.
"Hey. Elizabeth, hey. You can't trust anyone out here, okay? Just assume that everyone's a fu-- ... everyone's a bad person until proven otherwise, yeah? That's the only way to do it. Hey, are you okay? Did he do anythin' else?" Because that's just going to determine how long he drags it out before ending that bastard.

The question makes her stop fiddling with her thimble and nod. "I'm alright." Deep breath. "He only startled me. I didn't expect him to react violently, though now that I think about it, I should have expected nothing else."
Elizabeth offers Ghoul a small smile. "Thank you."
